Motorkhana is closest thing to legal drifting you can do in Canberra. The MG Car Club run a four round Motorkhana series and invite a number of car clubs in the area. To win, you need to complete the course in the shortest time possible, which is normally smooth driving and racing lines. However they do allow wheel spinning, so it is possible to drift the courses.
