Hello everyone from Ebisu circuit!

Just a quick update, after a exhausting but very fun day.

We arrived at Ebisu around 9am, when Andy opens the garages to his shop.

There were some Victorians who had come for this event. They have a very small budget and are staying at the free hall, across from the track. The hall is open to anyone and were woken early today.

This cheap S15 eighty that they bought blew a turbo gasket at the start of the first day.

The guys have been working on replacing the gasket but has proven difficult due to the tools that are available.

Kumars effort on the Sil80 we were going to buy from PowerVehicles.

Photobucket

I’m so surprised this thing drives so well considering the damage.

Photobucket

We also met a fellow Canberran, Ashwin from DriveGHT.

He normally drives grip back in Australia, so he stuck to the “Kuru Kuru” or donut/figure 8 course. We’ll push him to try something more fun tomorrow.

My 180 had clutch problems when it had arrived at PowerVehicles. They had sent it to AgentK to have a used Nismo Copper mix clutch fitted and finally arrived back today.

Photobucket

Very stock looking.

Photobucket

Interior is very nice, not even a crack on the dash.

We finally got around to drifting at about lunch time. I done a few laps of School course, Drift Land and Minami/D1 course. There was no one else on the track when I was drifting so no photos.

Nic and Rohan ready for some food after having a face full of rubber being pumped in their face.

Photobucket

The track has some awesome food. Nic ordered this Curry Rice.

First tyre popped, just in time for the end of the day.

These guys were lucky enough to still have Air Con still on their car.

There is a story behind this, and it might appear in MeZ’s video on Wreck’em.

Hopefully this photo gives you a better idea about how modified this JZX90 is.

Photobucket

John’s very nice S14.

Plenty of drift damaged cars. Hopefully more updates soon.
