On the way back from Oran Park

After a few dramas with exhaust leaks at the track I decided to leave a bit earlier than the rest of our Canberra convoy.

Luckily I did, because only 30km from the track this happened…

Thankfully the boys caught up and James’ Dad is a mechanic and did a great job fixing it up with the spare parts Eiji had. A HUGE thank you again for that!

This thankfully lasted me all the way to the kebab shop in Goulburn!

For those of you who haven’t had the pleasure of dining at this fine establishment, I can’t recommend it enough. It’s only about 50m from the Maccas. So next time you’re out at Wakefield or driving by, stop by and get yourself a kebab.

For $8.50 you can get yourself a regular kebab (which only one of us could actually finish). But for $14.50 you can pick up yourself this monster…

Ben wasn’t particularly hungry, but he couldn’t back down from the challenge I laid down for him, the jumbo kebab.

It took him more than half an hour to devour, but we were all pretty impressed by his efforts (and achievement).

So I put the challenge out there to anyone else to down one of these. While you may not get any cash, you will get the respect, and to some people that’s more important. (Thank you, The Fast and the Furious)
