Time for some culture!

We had about 5 days between drift events which gave us plenty of time to see some cultural sites.

Our first stop was the Osaka Aquarium.

The Aquarium has two Whale sharks in the main tank as well as a Manta ray. We also stopped by Nara dn Kyoto to check out some of the temples.

Rob got a little turned on by one of the towers and Nara.

This is one of the streets leading to a temple housing a massive Buddha. It used to be 66meters in height (I think) before it was burnt down. There were also two towers 100meters high but were also destroyed.

In Kyoto, we visited Kiyomizudera. It is a temple that was built entirely without any nails or bolts. Due to the large amount of visitors, some of the structure now contains reinforcement bolts, panels and nails.

An interesting exhaust system on this bike.

This is one of the famous rivers that runs through Kyoto.

On the way back to the train station to Osaka, I came across an interesting sticker.
